Mitsubishi Crossover ASX Arrived in UK

Schaller Mitsubishi would like to spend a few minutes going over a UK-sold Mitsubishi model that shares the same platform as the Outlander and the Mitsubishi Lancer.

If you are familiar with the Mitsubishi Outlander, you already know about the perfect blend of utility, performance and passenger convenience that the crossover segment offers individuals and families alike.

"The crossover marketplace has grown rapidly over the last 18 months. The Mitsubishi ASX has helped this growth by offering a stylish, well priced, practical and enjoyable to drive contender in this marketplace,"1 explains Lance Bradley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, at the announcement of the arrival of the new Mitsubishi ASX. Starting with fuel-economy, the Mitsubishi model's 1.8-liter diesel engine gets an amazing 54.3-mile per gallon and lowers carbon dioxide emissions to 136-g/km. ASX owners can also opt for a petrol power plant variant which achieves a slightly lower 47.1-miles per gallon. Now that's still pretty impressive if you ask us.

The new Mitsubishi model comes complete with a strong dose of convenience and safety features. Specifically, the Mitsubishi ASX implements RISE safety technology to reduce crash impact on passengers as well as traction control, emergency stop, active stability control, electronic brake distribution and brake assist. On the convenience side, a widened wheelbase provides plenty of passenger room, seat flexibility

"With the ASX delivering excellent economy and emissions, versatility, as well as comprehensive standard equipment, and not to mention the reassuring safety features, the ASX has everything the crossover buyer is after."2
